Olivia Balmes Hotel

Overall it was a perfect stay for our vacation. The breakfast offered a good choice of options and was above average. The location was incredible close to everything including subway and the staff here was highly courteous and thoughtful. We truly enjoyed staying here.

Having breakfast with pastries, fresh fruit, fresh bread, and meats was a nice bonus. This accommodation was in the central location on Passeig de Gracia.

The standard twin room I had was brand-new and decently priced. The pool area was great and the location was marvellous and lovely, just off the best restaurants, bars, and things to see and do, all the big attractions whether by walking, and subway stops & sightseeing spots.

The service was very good throughout our stay. The hotel's location was exceptionally good and best possible, to the the central plaza with shopping streets and a bakery within walking distance.

Beds and pillows in my superior queen room were comfortable. Plus it had picturesque view over inner courtyard. The location was exceptionally good and strategic as for me, close to metro station, Passeig de Gracia & Rambla de Catalunya, La Pedrera, many excellent cafes' and restaurants and Barcelona over Easter. Moreover, it was 3 km from Sea Life Centre London Aquarium.

The breakfast was complimentary with great options, vegetables and the food being offered, and the team was delightfully helpful and kept the space overall clean. The location was top and strategic and the services were very good.

The hotel was ideal and clean with pleasant views of town. I had a savoury breakfast and greatly enjoyed pastries, fresh fruit, slices of fresh bread, and meats. Thanks to the outstandingly accommodating staff everything was excellent, including plenty of reasonably priced food. As for me, the location was great, just next door to the major sightseeing areas including all of Gaudi's places, central Barcelona and Casa Mila and Casa Batllo.

The restaurant was pretty good for lunch here, I had special dishes. There was a spacious bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer, and bath sheets.

Beautifully kept and well-run hotel located in a very very nice area really close to Plaza Catalunya and the major sightseeing areas including all of Gaudi's places. A nice size and very well decorated units with a view of the neighborhood backyards, highly trained employees.

The hotel is pleasant and clean, nestled in a really good building with pleasant view of town. I have stayed in the superior queen room with a storage, a mini-bar, and coffee. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast is savoury and delicious.

The breakfast offered was above average and varied with great options, a variaty of fresh cheese, fresh fruit, couldn't have asked for more. The location was incredible and stunning as for me.

It was in a central setting down to the beach. Furthermore, The Grave of a Nazi Dog was nearby.

One of the advantages - well-appointed rooms; they included a tub and shower facilities. Its incredible, central location was a plus.

The hotel's setting was central and the staff were amazingly efficient people with champagne and cake in the room. We stayed in a standard twin room which was decent size and nicely furnished.

Stayed there for trip and had a very nice experience, so I will be back. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the standard room itself was a decent size and air-conditioned.

Modern and stylish accommodation with premier setting short walk to Sagrada Familia, Museu Picasso, Barcelona Cathedral, La Pedrera, La Rambla and La Boqueria, a pub showing live rugby for the All Blacks game, and the local restaurants. Air-conditioned, brand-new room, excellent Wi-Fi.

It was a very nice stay on a business trip. The hotel was in an incredible and stunning location, in the downtown core. It was also really close to subway stops & sightseeing spots and all the big attractions whether by walking.

It has marvellous location for visiting Casa Mila.

Actually everything was good, my next choice again in Barcelona. Had really great 4 nights here. Its location was marvellous and fantastic in the city center. All the services were perfect.

Everything was perfect, so where great views of town. The hotel's position was lovely, not far from anywhere else in the city, or down to the beach, or further out to Park Guell, town center, gothic quarter, Ramblas and Barcelona and Sagrada Familia, Museu Picasso, Barcelona Cathedral, La Pedrera, La Rambla and La Boqueria. Eixample district was worth exploring.

Everything was modern from the excellent service to the delightful food. This hotel had a very central position in Exiample district. We stayed for 4 nights here, loved Eixample district.

Liked this very pleasant stay for 3 nights additional. Bed & pillows were comfy, I slept well. My breakfast was delicious and incredible with good variation.

The property is stylish and the staff is amicable. The units are silent, fashionable with a bathtub. The location is awesome, 2 km from an eye-catching 15m-high primary-coloured sculpture.

The standard queen room is compact and fashionable. Also, they offer parking on-site. The location is STUNNING and unbeatable, it's short walk to trains and all the popular tourist attractions. There is Evviva Cafe Restaurante nearby for a cup of coffee.

We think it's a perfect place for staying in Barcelona...

There was lots of food for breakfast, including breads, pastries and meats. We booked superior room with glass windows and could use wake-up service, available in it.

Didn't like the area, it was bustling.

There also was private parking and great pool. Its location was easy, right by the centre, and most attractions and bus and metro stops nearby.

The personal was competent and efficient. Parking was on-site and we didn't mind paying extra gbp 19 per day The location was magnificent for walking around Casa Mila. Moreover, the area was shopping.
